Grace directed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) during her time as a Theatre and English Teacher at the Bryn Mawr School for Girls. Grace selected the play to provide the young actors with an opportunity to be funny, as often comedic roles in high school theatre are reserved for the boys. This foray into directing inspired her to begin a career as a theatre director in earnest, in order to break down the walls that still exist for female creatives, particularly within the realm of comedy.
